Job Summary 

​

Our client is a well-known global leader in the Exploration & Production industry and they are looking for outstanding individuals to fill multiple Financial Analyst positions supporting various business lines within their organization. In these roles, you will play a vital part of the Controller’s organization, supporting their businesses around the world by ensuring accurate accounting and financial statements for all operations. 

To be successful in this role, you should have the ability to learn accounting systems such as SAP and the capability to manage multiple monthly priorities and deadlines. Through the following activities, you will participate in business decisions, improve processes and work closely with both financial and business line operating management. 
 

​JOB REQUIREMENTS

​

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Accounting. Candidates with an MBA will be given preference.

• Minimum of 2 years of public accounting experience

• CPA license preferred but not required

• 3-5 years Public Accounting experience

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

 

• Analysis of relationships between complex operations, related contracts and financial transactions.

• CommSunicating and implementing changes in accounting standards.

• Utilizing and updating computing systems to accurately record financial transactions.

• Designing and evaluating controls.

• Improving financial and accounting processes.

• Providing financial support to operating and financial organizations

Many of their initial positions are located at manufacturing sites or headquarters facilities. Expect to rotate through two to three assignments in the first four to five years allowing for a variety of experiences to build your skills and knowledge. Demonstrated performance will lead to increasing responsibility and opportunities across the financial organizations and through various business lines via job rotation. The career path for candidates exhibiting exceptional performance may lead to domestic and international relocation opportunities and significant management responsibility. Full relocation assistance will be provided for individuals willing to relocate to Houston.
